2 Alberta men charged for online death threats against Trudeau
Two men in Alberta have been charged in separate cases, accused of threatening to kill federal politicians, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Mackenzie Gray breaks down the allegations, and the alarming rise of violent threats and harassment against public officials.
Joe Rogan Refuses To Go to Canada Because of Justin Trudeau
"I just don't trust any of it up there," Rogan said of Canada on his podcast. "I just think they're so far into tyranny right now."
Trudeau’s Tax Hikes Risk Worsening Canada’s Struggle for Capital
The landscape is a contrast with the US, which is in the midst of a supply renaissance and a factory building boom. Economists warn that Canada’s higher taxes will send the wrong signal to firms thinking about expanding production — risking longer-term damage to an economy that has relied on high levels of immigration and consumption to fuel growth.
Federal Liberals launch website lambasting Poilievre's record as MP
Pierre Poilievre "has tried to stop marriage equality, increase the retirement age, bring American-style anti-union laws to Canada, and make life harder for middle-class Canadians," the Liberals say. This, so far as I can recall, is a first for the LPC. They did not engage in this kind of negative attack against either of Poilievre's predecessors.

O'Rourke to carry Liberal banner for Guelph in next federal election
Second-term Ward 6 councillor, who announced last December she was seeking the nomination, has been acclaimed as the riding's candidate. Guelph has indeed been the only major southwestern Ontario riding that has been reliably Liberal for 10 elections. That might be about to change. Guelph is one of multiple ridings in the country have not returned a small-c conservative MP since Mulroney's monster majorities and, in my model, if an election were held now, a CPC candidate -- yet to be announced -- could well steal this. That said: I have the CPC up by 1 percentage point or about 500 votes so keep an eye on this one.
N.W.T. has 1 official, and 1 unofficial, candidate for the next federal election
The next federal election could still be more than a year away, but some federal parties have declared their candidates in the Northwest Territories. In my model, I have this riding going NDP if an election were held this summer.

The election messages N.B.'s politicians want you to hear
The Progressive Conservatives want to focus on affordability: what the party has done, and what it’s promising to do to help lighten the load on everyone’s back pocket. The Liberals and Greens, meanwhile, say what New Brunswickers most want is better access to health care.
BC NDP name veteran Liberal M.P. as candidate in Langley-Abbotsford
Aldag was elected twice in the federal riding of Surrey-Cloverdale, resigning as a Liberal M.P. in May to run for the NDP in the provincial vote.
